GPS Status App Reviews

Ive had lots of GPS but never so accurate for such a price. It said that my position had a "Good fix" (within a 50 m radius) and that was the case after checking it with an expensive Garmin. To be so accurate with a WiFi signal is truly amazing. Thumb up!

On my white iPhone 4 this app crashes almost instantaneously - useless, uninstalled it.

Simple app, does exactly what it says. Good to debug your gps connection before cursing your other map apps.

I love apps that do what they claim they will. Ive used it a lot just to keep an eye on the accuracy of my other navigation apps.

But excellent is spelled wrong :)

Consider adding an elevation. I could have used it several times when hiking mountain trails in Banff National Park & wanted to know elevation change.

Seems odd to list vertical accuracy but not list an altitude. I fired up GPS Status once while camping just for an altitude but I ended up launching something else. Otherwise a perfect app.

The only really simple GPS info app out there is this one. But it crashes on launch since the last update. Waiting for a fix.

Generally it works fine. Even more wonderful if it shows altitude too.

Even inside my garage this app accurately identifies my location to the exact address (and I live in a tract development with nearby neighbors on all sides). Great job by the developers! Thanks!

Now it scrolls some info off the screen due to the Home and Info buttons on the side. Add adverts into the mix and I cant see all of my info as the screen doesnt scroll. Since many people will neither want nor need cameralert, some sort of dismiss button for the ad would be nice so we can use all of the real estate for the app. Its a good little app, and Id gladly pay a small fee for it to permanently remove the ads (which add up on my data plan too Btw).

This is a great app to give you the raw GPS information, with one Glaring failure. Although it gives you the vertical accuracy IT DOESNT GIVE YOU AN ALTITUDE TO GO WITH IT!? Youll have to go elsewhere for more functionality unless they fix this omission.

The App does exactly what it says. Plus its free.

App performs as claimed. Would be nice to add a screen about current satellite conditions (location, ID, signal strength.)
